Default What would a A4 98 Camaro run in the 1/4?

The car is all stock except a catback and intake I believe. Just curious what it would be running down the 1/4 mile with a competent driver.

Thanks guys

Catback + intake (air lid) '98 A4 car should run mid 13s around 105mph on decent tires.

I would say mid-high 13s with stock gear/converter. Once you get rid of those though, your car will be a lot quicker.

If you have 2.73s probably high 13s all day. 3.23s could see some low low 13s with DR.

Agreed, my 98 Z28 car ran mid 13s when it was basicly stock.

I disagree.

2.73 car with lid and catback is a solid mid 13.

3.23 car with lid and catback is a solid low 13.

Unless you're at some high elevation.

There is not a huge ET difference between 3.23 and 2.73. Just a couple tenths on average.

My '98 Formula ran 13.6x @ 106-ish with a Dynomax, 2.73 gears, bone stock motor and a lid on street tires... same car ran 13.3s @ 106-ish with 3.42 gears, 76K on the odometer.

Threw a converter in the car with the same combination, and it ran 12.8s. Gotta say that's one thing I love about A4s.

Best of 13.30 at 105 with an intake, lid and catback on ET Streets.
