I've always preferred the targas.
1. It's got a targa top
2. The roofline doesn't abruptly slope down out of nowhere which completely goes against the rest of the lines of the car

FRC No doubt about it. One of my reasons being that the C5 still looks great and all but the C6 is out and sooner or later the C7. Having or seeing a older C5 coupes are a dime a dozen,I very rarely see FRC's. I see more C5 Z06's

Z06's around me a dime a dozen let along base vettes... heck there's a chevy dealership near me calling itself the "Corvette Store"...
That said, I like the hardtop versions. Seems more go fast oriented and I'm sure that aero stability was more than taken into account when they designed it.

Bingo, It was very hard for me not to buy a Z06..but in the end I needed the Targa roof and I don't like the looks of the convertible or impracticality of a tiny trunk.

Honestly the only C5's that really make me look twice are the FRC's. I don't know why but the "hatchback" is just another car in the crowd to me for some reason.
