Anyone Prefer the Plain Styling of a Z28?

This is where it's at right here..
I added the RS Spoiler a while back.
I am thinking this for a paint job..
Primer/Flat Black except for the Top & Berger Panel, and old-school Z28 Emblems on the sides and the Back. That would have the classic Muscle car look..

I really like LS1 Camaros with the stock body kits, but I like T/A's more because of the catfish thing. My fave 4th gen is the LS1 WS6. Then comes the LT1-years Camaro SS's, then RS, then regular. Then LS1 Firebirds. Then LS1-years Y3F Camaros. Then LS1 SS's. Then way last is LT1 Firebirds. So, firebirds are at the top and bottom of my lists.

Either way, your F-body is gonna look like a potential food source to somebody.

It's a funny thing. I prefer the Pewter WS6, but ended up with a Black Z.
Regrets? Not really.
I like the SS spoiler, but don't really care for the hood. I do like the body kit and grille that I just installed.

say what you will about the "plain jane" look but I can tell you this, the plain look of the Z28 is the right look for the 4th gen Camaros because even the most subtle lines on a car can make or break the look. My buddy has a ws6 and I was originally in the market for one until I saw the Z28 and I said why pay thousands more for an SS or WS6 when I can buy a z28 for thousands less and have more stock hp or the same for way less. It is simple to understand that paying less for a car that is the same as the other f-bodies and shares the same hp numbers is the right way to go. I have plenty off SS owners tell me that my z28 looks really good because it is clean and doesn't need all that dress up to be a head turner. The only thing I would get is the SS hood but I hate the SS style spoiler. It seems too big for the car as the z28's spoiler looks just right for the car. Case in point it is a love or hate thing between the ss and ws6's but when it comes to a budget the z gives me more enjoyment than a ws6 or ss.... "Anything can be an SS but only a Camaro can be a Z28........" My Z is under this post...

I agree, simple, not even the body kit looks best to me. Also agree the 16s suck, and lower is better (to a point). I did wheels literally as soon as I got mine home (1st SS 10 spokes - then a month later the black 17s). My Strano springs go on today...so it will be lower too!
SUBTLE is GOOD!

My opinion (talking only with camaro's)
SS
plain z28
z28 with factory body kit
z28 with most any aftermarker body kit
My Fiance likes the plain z28's over everything. She hates the arched spoiler and doesn't really care for the hood.
She likes the ram air firebirds though so I'm good.

Like I said before, I like the SS more. Don't get me wrong I love the Z28's, its just that it looks too much like the V6 Camaro's......too plain because of the V6 ones.
Peace,
Craig.
