Default where to find wrecked ls1 car

I need the drivetrain and a couple other things

where should I go about finding one? would visiting junkyards be a good start? ive been watching autotrader and craigslist for a while now with no luck.

Might help to post what part of the country you live in...

GM Sports Salvage in San Jose gets them pretty frequently from what I see. They have a complete LS1 with wiring harness and computer for sale right now.

Ebay is another place to look. And have you check the classifieds on the board? Lots of parts for sale there from modified and parted cars.

I got mine on craigslist. I actually buy quite a lot on there.

Adesa Impact, largest dealer only salvage auction in the U.S. so good luck on getting in but they do have them
