I have the worst luck...with this car...
in the past 6 months i have had nothing but bad luck with this car...
January: blew out the clutch and rearend... not too bad, but still costs to replace...sent it off to dealership to replace...
February: got the car back, had it a 5 days and blew the motor overheated and cracked the block, warped the heads, and pretty much turned the whole bottom end into dust...
March: got car back with brand new crate ls1 and decided to add a few mods... had this time for about two weeks when an elderly lady decided to pull out in front of me... sent off to body shop to get fixed...
April: car still in shop...
May: get car back at the end of the month, everything drives/looks like new, body shop did an excellent job...
June: havent had the car back for a whole month, Im on my way home during a flash flood, and sucked up enough water to fill a pool...
what the hell???
i bought this bad boy for 12500... but after mods and all other bs have spent a grand total of appx 24000...
Ive had fun but this car is a curse for me... what do i need to do?

well sounds like with just replacing parts that broke you could have a pretty beefed up ride because if my rear blew i would have a moser, or strange on order in a a couple weeks

I feel like im a pretty good person, pretty much do everything by the book, i dont cut corners or screw people over... but also i treat this car pretty much showcar, wash her twice a week and wax about every three months, i dont beat on her, although i do occasionally get on it (maybe once or twice a week). I think that God is trying to tell me something.. or possibly keep me from more trouble or possibly dying in an accident...its gonna be hard but after i get her fixed this time, if anything else happens it will be sold... but i will not be without an LS based motor... hmm a newer f-body or vette sounds nice...

Sorry to hear about alot of that.
But insurance covered the flash flood right? If not you can try to look at the upside, and replace everything thats getting trashed with performance parts. You'd have a nice monster of a car by now if you have been doing that. Aftermarket engine, rear end, etc.
