I am 19, had my Formy for 2 years, 2nd car. I have a dd, but its a total POS and most older people have more responsibilites that trump having an fbody.

Also, you have to remember that a lot of older people might have fbodies but arnt so great on the net. My dad loves fast cars and all that, but he is internet retarded. My grandpa doesnt even have a computer and has never in his life used one or would even think about trying to use one.

My dads first car was a 69 SS350 that is now in my grandpa's possesion with a 355 4spd and is a Z/28 clone. I am just following in the footsteps.

IMO you can never be too old to have a fun car, and that is what an Fbody is.

p/s @ Jon. Yeah, it is really disappointing, most girls go for trucks or the rice. It is sad that everyone in my high school thought my car would be destroyed by a Civic Si or my one friends E36 M3. Civic refused to race, E36 his is a 5spd with 3.96 gears and about 18k+ in it, I still walked him in my near stock fbody t-tops off, passenger and full system. owned. People underestimate the fbodies.

haahhah OWNED!!!!

Noone will race me, not any more, not after I blew away some kids "9 second street car" lame *** turboed civic hatch ek9

after that the only thing that will try me are bikes, i wont mess with the 1000s, but the 600s hahahaha.

I own a R1 and I know how fast they are, anything that runs a 9 stock has gotta be a 12 second camaro.

My dad's friend who is 59, liked my WS6 so much that he went out and bought a 2001 black WS6. Theres 4 WS6's in my area, and i'm the youngest owner by an easy 15 years...and i'm only 22. Same goes for the Camaro's, theres 1 SS in my town that an old lady drives, and 1 Z28 thats driven by guy in his early 40s. These are all 4th gens of course. If all 17 year old kids had these cars, i think they'd of all been wrapped around poles by 2005 lol.

I've owned a total of 2-79 firebirds, 3-79 Trans Ams, 1-95 Trans AM and just purchased my 2002 Firehawk T/A. I'm 40 and for some reason beyond my comprehension I'm drawn to these cars like a moth to a flame. F-bodies seem to encompass alot a generations of admirers and owners. I went a whole 12 years without owning one ( felt like a junkie goin through withdrawls) and I always missed that feeling of community that we have. When I got back in the saddle again with my 95 T/A I swear it was like bein reborn! (can I get a amen?) But all else aside I really like walking old grey haired guys in their BMW, Lexus, Corvettes..Etc. The price of my 02 Firehawk, $19720, the look on the guys face as we race and I blow past him and his $50,000 car, Priceless!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers!
