Default Is this a good deal? 2000 Camaro z28

I am looking at a 2000 Camaro z28 NBM with 104,000 miles auto,Leather seats beige,T-Tops,Borla cat-back,CAI,and SS wheels. The car is in excellent shape, and is priced at
$6990.The mileage is what scares me.

price is right--but mileage, holy hell! A car with 100K has had a loooong life and has encountered a lot of road. Think of it as marrying a really hot 70 year old...

if the previous owner took care of the car (which the op said it was in really good shape) i dont think theres anything to worry about with the mileage... i know a guy with a 98 that has 160k, that thing runs better than mine with 84k... dont be scared of the miles... scoop this one up

Sounds alright. Mileage doesn't necessarily mean it was beat on. You can rack up the miles driving like an old lady just as easy.

hmmm..guess I'm just not used to chevy's. I drive a Ford and I would never buy one with over 70K on the Odo...ever. Go for it man! Sure you want an auto though?

Are you joking? I wouldn't hesitate to spray/boost the nads off a 150K 5.0 Fox-body. I've owned 2 GTs and they took a beating... The 4.6 is a different story, but still...70K isn't all that much mileage anymore.

Heck, I bought mine with 103k on the clock for $5500! Do a carfax and see if there's a pattern in mileage. Mine was driven 22k/year for 4 years. Found out it was a company/fleet car for a while, and when I bought it was bone stock.

It would depend on whether all the regular maintenance stuff appears to have been done. Tires would have to have significant tread left, minimum of 500-600 for new tires. Brakes should be worn evenly. No leaks. No brown gunk in the coolant overflow reservoir. Trans fluid should be clean and look new.

Check the front end good for paint chips or signs of being repainted or sprayed over. With those miles there should be some flaws unless it's been repainted which could be signs of a significant accident.

+1 to that... I mean **** does tend to break at 100k miles. Look around you will be amazed with the other offers.
