Car's paid off and have about 4k in mods that are all paid off. Debt free. Only buy things when you have the money to and you'll stay that way.

bought the car, made payments for 3 years, sold my townhouse, used some of profits to pay off rest of the car, worked some overtime to save for a heads/cam/intake package, and only pay for the rest when I have the cash.

All of the Camaro's are paid for. I still owe about $15K on the truck...and the house of course is not paid for. Gonna sell the '99 Z28 and my dad is buying the '99 SS. I'm keeping the '01 SS and the truck. Once the Z sells i'm gonna buy a black '03 Z06. Can't wait!

Depending on the interest rate you can get on your car, this may not be the best way to do it. You'd be an absolute fool to pay cash if you can get in on one of those 0.0% promotions dealers do sometimes.

I don't buy from dealers either, private party sales only. Lower cost > zero percent loan. It's not like we're talking 30 grand here either.

I owe $9,000 on the car and only pay cash for mods. So far I've dropped a little over $6,000 in mods. Sometimes when I think about it, if I did no mods and saved my money I could have almost payed off the car.

O well, its fun.

$0 since the day I purchased it back in June 2005. Lots of dumb jobs to earn that kind of cash. Mmm, mods.

After I payed off the Formula early, I realized I'd never get **** out of it with the little problems it had, so I gave it to my little brother. No real regrets on that, yet.

I've only had the Z28 for about a month now and still owe a tad over $6,000. The original plan was to hold off on the mods and dump every extra dollar I get into paying if off, but that's easier said then done. Either way, I'm going to try to knock it out in less than two years instead of three. I just need a better gig.

LS1s are worse than crack when it comes to money!!!
