Default A very SAD!! Day!

Well I was coming back to New Orleans from Lafayette, La. In my 2002 Firebird Formula. It was raining really bad and when I changed lanes to slow down the car, it hit a puddle on the interstate. Then the car's *** end came around and slid right off the road and hit 2 or 3 ft of water ( which saved the car from being totaled bc it slowed it down) But still it hit a dirt ditch. The first of the impact hit the drivers side front wheel ( C5 corvette rims) busted the lug cap off, bent the lower car arm, bent sway bar, then it slung around and nailed the back passenger rear headlight busted it, then the spoiler is busted all the way to the hatch. Then the cat back exhaust got bent to ****! Well least the car is going to come back better thank GOD for FULL COVERAGE!!!!! But it Hurts me to see my baby in so much damage :-(

Good thing you had full coverage. I only had liability on my car when I wrecked it and had to foot the bill! Glad you didn't get hurt.

Ouch man. I spun my Z once, I was real lucky I didn't hit anything.
I have backed into a tree though, and the dent is still there........
Good luck getting your baby fixed.

full coverage is great most of the time. I got hit by guy that had very low insurance, and my insurance company never told me about under insured drivers.

Good luck dealing with the insurance comapany.

Cars and mods can be replaced. Lives on the other hand are something we only get one of. I'm glad to hear you're ok and good luck with your car.

Well Update on the car. It isnt totaled The Body shops is giving me all new interior, replacing the bent C5 corvette rim and fixing all the damage done. More on the plus. I talk to my friends at Cajun Customs in Lafayette. They are getting me a Raptor hood, trans am front and rear bumper and Trans Am hatch. So something good came out of this and 3/4 of the car gets repainted. THANK GOD FOR HOOK UPS!
Thanks again for the support. Pics of the before and after are coming.
