Default Tow Vehicle

What do some of you guys use for a tow vehicle for your race cars?

I am thinking of getting a 2007 Avalanche LTZ 4-wheel-drive with the 5.3ltr, 4-spd automatic.

This vehicle is good for trailers of 7000 lbs.

I may purchase a Magna-charger for little extra omph.

The trailer will be an aluminum 7000lb GVW unit. The car being towed weighs about 3800lb and the trailer is about 1500lbs. One axle of the two on the trailer has electric brakes.

What do you guys think? What do some of you guys use?

We regularly tow a 9,000 pound trailer with a duramax/allison truck. Tows like it's got nothing behind it. 650ft-lbs wins, I'm going to open it up with HPtuners soon, too.
