How many of you daily drive your F or Y body?

Daily driven.. And most people laugh at me when I have to drive my jeep for some reason, and I tell them, I cant wait to drive my firebird tomorrow to save on gas. haha.
I only have a 6 minute drive to work on a back road...so I easily keep it to under 5000 miles a year. I do that for emissions exemption as well.
Just wouldnt be right to put all that work and money into her to make her run like a raped ape and handle on rails just to let her sit in the dark all day.

Mine has been a DD since 2003 and I just passed the 190k mark. It's been incredibly reliable and fuel efficient (at least for a 12 or 13 second car). I'd love to have a beater... but I think I've been spending that money for mods... lol. No winter here in Texas to worry bout, and when there is snow/ice... they don't put down salt, everyone just wrecks instead. Just gotta avoid the crazies.

I have a 2000 Grand Am GT that is my daily driver. My SS sits in the garage mid Oct to mid May when the roads get cleaned. It now has 5975 miles on the odometer. I took it out for the first time this year back in May with 5734 miles on the odometer. If there are any clouds in the sky, it doesn't come out and i'm checking all the weather channels and weather websites before I take it out to make sure no rain is coming while I have it out..........yes, its a sickness.

My Camaro has never been daily driven, and it never will be. It was bought to be a low mileage, fair weather only weekend cruiser & show car. That is it's only mission. It gets driven about 800-1500 miles per year. It's stored from the end of Oct. to the begining of Apr. Car has 14k miles.
I have other cars to deal with the daily commute. However I am giving serious consideration to buying a higher mileage, lesser condition Camaro for more daily use.

I daily drive mine and too be honest, I wouldn't want it any other way! It makes the commute to work fun and enjoyable. I can't wait till the work day is over so I can drive my car home!! Maybe I'm nuts! I pay a lot of money to have a car like this and I'm definitly getting my money worth!

Well, actually I guess I don't pay much to own an LS1 car at this point. It costs me about $1200 per year to own the car. That's plates/insurance/gas/oil for one year. $100/month isn't much.

I use mine everyday and I'm a broke *** college kid now so I can't afford a winter beater, but it's allright cause even here in chicago theres only 1 or 2 days where the snow doesn't get cleared right away..

My was my DD for about a week before I got my beater back from when I moved back from Indy I left if up there for one of my buddy's to drive while he was finishing school cause he car blew it's motor. After that it's lucky to see the road more than twice a week . There's been times where it hasn't seen the road for up to 3 weeks, it just sits in my garage and looks pretty. I've got 5 other vehicles that I can drive, it just depends on what mood I'm in . My DD is an 87 Nissan pickup with 190k on the clock and it runs like a top, the only major problems I've had with it is the 5th/R shift fork broke, and the rear end took a dump on me, that was from all the 1 wheel wonder burnouts . Other than that it's been an awsome truck, I fill it up every 2-3 weeks like clock work, occasionally once a month, and it only takes 87 and it only has a 15 gal tank.

For the last 4 years I have driven the bird everyday in congested NOVA but recently got a beater . But..............it needed a new throttle cable so I couldnt drive it all this week.(part just came in Thursday). I forgot how much of a gas guzzler the thing is
