Default how much hp is ever enough?

ive got 400 rwhp and at first i was happy. i went from a bone stock lt1 260rwhp to 400rwhp... Now im thinking of building my block, and putting on a smaller pulley. does it ever end?

Id rather be stock and have a bike than have 400rwhp because now all i want is to go faster and faster

I'm kinda in the same boat, but I use nitrous. I thought about just buying all the safety equipment and building up my suspension. Then selling my cruiser for a crotch rocket when i get that ***** out need for speed lol

There isn't a limit. I know the guy who had this built. (Bob J.)
http://g-forcecuda.com/

And he still wants more. Mod fever never ends. The more money you have, the more aggressive the disease gets. The more horsepower you have, the more you want. Until you get marred at least...

I have to agree with RevelationZ28...thats what i would like to have..not necessarily a number although 500whp daily driver is damn cool beans and sure to eliminate most anything you find..but if you can punch the pedal down in 4th or 5th and smoke the hides off ...now THAT's POWER!!!!

and if you need more..there is always a great sponsor with goodies!!!!!

We're all speed freaks here. Some need to get a weekly fix. 400-450 hp should do it. But the real junkies need to get a daily fix. 550 hp minimum. I know some people in this catagory. They can never get enough.

I'm still in the recreational stage. (under 350 hp) My wallet won't le me advance to the next level.

For a street car, there has to be a limit because at some point, it'll just be totally unuseable. I'll let you guys know when I find that point

500-600rwhp is one badass ****'ing streetcar. That would probably be the street limit for most people and for most cars, because after that most setups will either break alot or be real hard to control on the street. I'd hate to get beat by a 350rwhp import that hooks if i have a sick 650+rwhp domestic that you can't floor till 4th gear because it melts the drag radials or w/e...even though u know you have double the horsepower and 3 times the mph but everyone has their point and so do the cars they drive...it all depends

That's what I would call too much, unless he just likes doing burnouts that much.

I agree totally.

600rwhp is the limit for a streetcar of mine, youll have traction problems enough with 600wheel and destroy most anything on the street with ease.

see i thought 400rwhp would be enough, especially for an lt1 that has like 50hp less than an ls1, but i guess its not. I Want more!!!!

All 03's cobras have to do is pulley/tune and they have like 450rwhp..
And Cammed ls1's with full exhaust are also in the 380-400 range..I'd like to be above them all..so id say 500 is good for me..

I have over 600rwhp on a little shot of squeeze. I actually am thinking of going with less HP and concentrating on driveability...
