My eclipse is probably in the 250hp range and FWD. It sucks to drive in the rain. Impossible to drive in the snow. And hard to launch at the strip (M5). Its only good when rollin. That G6 is prob a nice driver but wont be near as fun as the goat. Does the G6 have a, whatever the hell you call it for FWD, posi? My eclipse is a peg leg wonder. Oh and the Buick 3.8 T isnt really in the V6 class.

Why don't you just buy some piece of **** for winter? I bought a $500 1990 buick lesabre with 120,000 miles and never had to do a thing to it and it now has 150,000 miles and runs perfect.

Where in NJ are you located? If you do a search you can find GTO's brand new floating around dirt cheap. Also I voted GTO but then read you wanted a auto
New A4 GTO's came with a gas guzzler tax. The LS2 sounds so good why would you want a A4?

A4 cause my last LS1 was a M6 and it cost a lot to fix it, and i drive on highway in traffic everyday, and I want to go to raceway park and dont want to worry bout shifting or burning out the clutch and stuff. But I am in central NJ, and I cant find a GTO for anything less the $30K and I refuse to pay anything more then that. The car will be 2 years old in a few months. Its been sitting and sitting. With tax's and tags, nothing over $30K, maybe I am being crazy but thats what I think...

I say if you are wanting a performance machine and you are going to get the G6, supercharge it because 270hp pulling 3400 pounds is not going to be a performance machine. The goat is going to outperform in that department but I think that the G6 looks better. My vote is G6w/supercharger!

I drive my GTO year round. Rain or snow isn't a problem, and I have to deal with Wisconsin weather. Just get some good tires and leave traction control on and your good to go. You wont be dissapointed. Dont get the G6, for God sake...its a G6.

GTO. But I think the G6 GXP's are ugly IMO. Are the production GXP's even going to have 270 hp? When the concept first debuted it had a 3.9L that they listed as having a K&N intake and cat back exhaust to bump power to 270 hp. But the production version gets the 3.6L just like the G6 GTP and in the higher trim level Saturn Auras and in the upcoming new Malibu. The 3.6L makes 252 hp stock, unless they're still planning on throwing a cat back and some other stuff on it. To me the GXP version of the G6 is more aimed at looks than performance unlike the Solstice GXP and GP GXP. But hey whatever makes you happy is what you should get. Living in PA northwest of Philly I understand the winter aspect in deciding on a car.
