Damn you are one lucky f@#ker. When this happened to me I bought a Land Rover and sold off all my fast stuff. That lasted about 6 months and I bought another f-body.

Glad everyone is ok.

Sucks about the car, but the important thing is you're okay. A buddy of mine rolled his '95 Trans Am and walked away pretty uninjured. I almost rolled my Grand Am GT I used to have down a hill. Same way, driving on a road and didn't realize what was going on and next thing I knew I was in an S-curve way too fast and lost control and spun sideways then went backwards and came back around just barely missing hitting a pole on the drivers side and sliding right along the edge of the hill and then back on the road. Very scary, definately makes you be more careful. Again, glad you're alright!

glad your okay, you are a lucky man. it is amazing though how well our cars seem to fare when it comes to pretty bad wrecks the fact that you guys rolled it end over end and sideways its amazing its not in a lot worse shape

I only deal with wrecked cars, and let me say you are VERY damn lucky to be alive. the fbody is a horrible car to wreck in if the roof starts to cave in. Sorry to hear there will be 1 less *non-repairable* f-body on the road, but it can be replaced, you cant.

About the airbags. they dont work like many people think they do. When you get into a crash, they work based off a set of values on how fast you deccelerate. if its sudden (like hitting another car or something else solid) they will pop because its an instant stop. you were still moving when you wrecked therefore they didnt pop.

wow!!!! glad to hear you are ok! ya 2 of the 3 sensors in the car have to switch on to deploy the airbags, and only your side sensor went off i'd imagine. I cant believe how not bad the front of that car is (sell the clip)! haha....anyway glad to hear your ok..

on a side note- that looks like the EXACT turn/cliff that i saw a viper go spinning off in a video clip a few years back.
