Is that the same road as this?

Accident seems similar.

You got lucky with having the windows down and t-tops off and not having a tree or rock or something come stabbing at you or either of you flying out of the t-tops. Thank god you had your seat belts on or you might not be here telling us about it. Glad you are ok. Sorry to see your car that way, but always room for improvement.

Wow, your lucky to be alive. Speed kills even if there is a guard rail.

Man I am so sorry to hear about this but like everyone else already said. The car can be replaced you and your friend can't be. We're all just happy to hear that you'll be ok and will heal from everything.
I can't even imgine what it has to feel like for that to happen, I hate the feeling of losing control so that followed by falling, then rolling end over end without being able to do a thing would really freak me out. Basicly knowing I might die and there's nothing I can do about it but hope and pray for the best.
Again we're just happy you made it out.

Seriously a roll cage wouldn't be a bad idea if you're living around roads with sharp sand filled turns with clifs off the side with no guard rails. It could save your live.

Wow. Someone was watching over you after a fall like that with all those rolls, espically with yourselves exposed to everything with the t-tops and windows down. I'm confused myself why your airbags didn't deploy, would of saved you a headache for a few weeks. And something like that should be a reminder for everyone to wear their seatbelt.

I would get a good lawyer and file a lawsuit against the county, IMO. Not having a guard rail there is BS, and on top of that with dirt as the shoulder it is expected to get on the road. Not cleaning up dirt around a corner can kill. Your car was a beaut, most importantly both of you are in good shape (considering)

When you get the car back and start to part it out, it'll be hard. I lost my SS and thought oh well, I'll part it out and make some money. Sucks seeing it sit in the garage instead of out around town.

No offense guys, but it is not the government's responsibility to make sure you are being a responsible human. If you are going too fast on a dangerous corner(which I have done, wrecked more than one car, and blamed myself, not the government) it is your own fault. I am glad everyone is ok, but to blame the county for not stopping them from doing it is just plain wrong. Do you honestly think your taxes should go to stop people from being stupid? I don't. Quit blaming other people for your shortcomings and take responsibility for your own actions.

Again, I am happy you are ok, but do yourself a favor and dont take this guys advice. Take responsibility and drive more carefully or the next time you might not be as lucky.

You're very lucky. You can replace a vehicle, not a life. My friend rolled his '05 Maxima last year. It was horrific. He came out with cuts & bruises. Every single air bag deployed in the vehicle. Glad you made it.

im not blaming anyone for my mistakes, though a gaurd rail may have helped keep me from rolling down the mountain.

Yeah I know that, but I maintain that it is not the Governments responsibility to protect me from myself, or you from yourself. If I do something stupid I get what I deserve.

I had to recently spend an extra $2000 to have alarms put around my pool when it was built(required by law here)because other people cant watch their own kids. I watch my kid, I am in the pool or beside it when she is in there and she has known how to swim since before she was 1. Why do I have to pay for stupid mistakes of other people.

I agree it is a tragedy when bad things happen, but when I just dont think you should be sueing anyone for your own mistakes. I wasnt refering to you anyway, I was refering to the guy that thinks you should sue the county.
