Unhappy Bought a FRC and I'm Dissapointed

I went from a 430rwhp '99 Z/28 to a stock '99 FRC and I'm majorly bummin right now. I don't know if I like these vette's after all. My camaro seemed to shift so much crisper and actually handle better (hence i had every spohn suspension part). It looks nice, I'll give it that. I dunno what the deal is. The last time I drove my camaro was in January and now I just picked this up... what gives?

You could always trade it in on a Mustang and be really unhappy. Count your blessings man you get a Vette. Thats a lot more than a most of people in this world can say. (including myself)

you put it up ona pedistall(sp)....and now your dissappointed. Handling is all the owners feel. get used to the car..cause on paper it should handle better. Other than that ...you lost 130rwhp..what did you think was going to happen?

i did the same thing, sold my 01 WS6 for a red 99 FRC. then went back to a 98 WS6..

reason for going back to the f-body is i race a lot and the vette was a $$ note and plus $$ to fix so the f-body was more realistic...

if you can afford to mod the vette and afford to brake the tranaxle/clutche swaps then youll love the vette. if on a budget id say take it easy and try not to mess anything up lol

oh yeah, try not to make enemys with people, i hear that back window is 2000$ to replace!

there's just too many problems with this thing that i think has me down... no a/c (bad pump), needs an oil change off the bat, check engine light is one, some kind of puttering sound from the driver side engine area, tranny is possibly locking out gears, rough idle, bad mpg, some kind of squeaking from the rear and theres an accelerator hesitation/studder not to mention all of the interior cosmetic problems... it gets checked by chevy next week so we'll see

Get the damn thing fixed or you will end up polishing a car that looks great and makes a great paper weight instead of a car. Hope you didn't pay alot for it considering the list of probs. you have.
