Dont feel bad. The camaro isnt a priority for me and my plates expired in Feb. I tried to mail in the auto renew but it was to late. Had CEL's I needed to get rid of that plagued me for months. Finally get the CEL's out and take it the end of july for inspection and they fail me for OBD status unready and being to loud. Im not playin now. Got a 30 day temp tag and HPTuners... Also gonna stuff some steel wool in the exhaust. Aint gonna get me his time.

The way it works is you have to report it to the owner of the tow company first. The way a garage policy works is when a vehicle (your car) is taken into " car, ,custody, or control" They are liable for any damages. This is true for any reason even an expired tag. Go to the owner and see what he wants to do. If you show up with all of the info and pic's and reports and dont be an *** it will most likely get handled well. If he dosent want to work with you then you will need to take it to your insurance company. Once they get the info they will contact the owner and then the owners insurance co. They will subrogate and get you your money and your deductable. The later rout will take longer.
