I think the best thing is to just smile and nod. Pick out and keep the real bits of knowledge and truth the guy might occasionally spit out and discard the rest. But always be friendly and respectful. You never know when you may need a friend, full of **** or not.

Unfortunately there are those in the LS1 gang as well. A few weeks back I was talking to a fellow LS1 local. He was looking over my prochargerd vette and asked what it put out. I told him roughly 600hp at the wheels.

He's like "Oh thats it? That would only be a bit faster than mine then."
So I ask" What is yours putting down?"
He says "Over 400"
I said "Nice, Heads and cam car?"
He says "Not yet, just Borla exhaust"


Rather than try to correct him, I offered to go out and run him a bit so we could compare He declined......
