i used to get around 25-30 highway with just exhaust. now it's a good bit less but i have a built and stalled tranny now also
why get a stock one? that's boring for the 4l60e.. go ahead and spend the extra cash and buy a built tranny and stall, if you plan on doing anything to the car it's best you do that anyways

i dont want to put a big stall in my car. i need to get good gas mileage. i see a4 cars with my mods run 12's with ease all day long (with a good tune), so that is all i'm looking for. (12 second daily driver) To make it a little funner, i am wanting to put in a ratchet shifter, but that'll be the extent of it for the time being.

I usually get around 25 mpg with mixed driving and a heavy right foot. Only managed 20ish when drove strictly city. But I also have a 2.73 rear gear and assuming you have the stock 3.42's you may have different results.

my 3.42's would help for stop/go driving. but they would hurt me just a little on the highway. but i am liking what i am seeing guys. some of you get better than i thought.

16-19 around town with some spirited driving, 24-27ish highway. If you want good MPG why are you swapping to a slushbox?
