It's not about being "scared". Just be prepared to get waxed severely.

9psi? I don't even think it's possible to run a pulley combo big enough
to produce 9psi only. I've never heard of anyone running under 15psi.

To answer the original question, there is no definitive answer. The outcome
of a race between a procharged LSx car and a twin screw Cobra is
completely dependent up the individual setup and driver ability.

For example, if I were to race kp's D1 blown 347CID LSx Firebird, he would
destroy me like there's no tomorrow. Reason? His setup is extremely
stout and it's pretty much a racecar (whether he admits it or not )
and my car is 100% street car.

Example 2, I have run stock LSx cars with P1's and D1's on stock motors
(~8psi or so) and I've put bus lengths on them. Same goes for turbo cars.
I've also raced blown fbodies that have built motors, slicks, skinnys, etc
and I've stomped them.

Example 3, and I don't mean any offense to this guy at all...but there
is no way in hell his D1 LS1 could come close to beating my Cobra.
Clearly there is something up with the power output though.

I'd like to note that there are thousands of cars here that would
*** whoop mine...just so you guys know that I'm a realist.

Also, you didn't clarify which blowers...P1, D1, F1, F1a, F1R, F2...2.3L
Whipple, 3.4L Whipple, 2.2L KB, 2.4L KB, 2.6L KB, 2.8L KB.

There's a hell of a lot more to it than just saying "which is faster".

i'd LOVE to get a polished Magnacharger for my Vette I LOVE blower whine I had a Thunderbird SC with a intake, pulley, full exhaust, injector upgrade. Anyway, that thing SCREAMED when you'd hammer it. haha I kinda miss that. i may not make as much power off a Maggie but i'd have the cool sound factor.lol The problem is there are much cheaper, more effective was to boost the Vette. Magnacharger setups, after you replace the hood and tune, are upwards of $8.5-$9k oh well, i can dream for now...~Cole~
