convertible question

convertible question Hey guys, I have a 00 Z28 M6 convertible. Ive always been more into performance then style, but I found this beauty at a dealership while I was in training. I know that convertibles weigh a bit more so they dont perform as good, but how big is the difference? Im going to heads/cam and nitrous it when I get home from over seas. Or should I trade it for a T-topped Fbody and do the same mods?

ha, I have alot of plans for that thing when I get home, put a cowl on it, the sport bar, Boyds. It would look sooo nice, HASTINGR you actually have just about every mod I ordered for my car haha. I spent like 8,000$ over the last month for my Camaro lol.

I knew the top would give me drag, but wont come into a notice until higher speeds. I need to get my top replced its come off the stitches so it probably has more drag from flapping in the air haha.

yeah, the parts add up quick when you get bit by the mod bug

ha I had to replace my rear windsheild before I left. Those people said they do tops too and apparently will give me a huge deal when I get home. I wrote the day and time down they said it to see if they stick with their word haha. Alright Ill post up a few pics

Hey man! Welcome to the board!!! Us convertible guys have to stick close together!!
We have roughly abouta 300-400 lb disadvantage... We just have to mod a little bit more!.......
I picked up my NEW OEM top with a 5 or 10 year warranty.. I cant remember.. for 410 bucks.... That included the tinted Heated Back window!
Pretty good prices I thought!!!!!!

HASTING any doubts I had about my Camaro's performance was answered by your vid, no Im in Afghanistan. Hrmmm can I just swap out differentials or is there a much more complicated evil situation? I know alot of people swap over to the Ford 9 inch rears. I pretty much had all the bolt ons it before I left and I must say I miss that thing : ).
