a nine inch is fine, as long as the car isn't lowered. i'm telling you look into the stange s-60. its pretty much a dana 60 which is ultra beefy and it fits under lowered cars. the cost with a driveshaft is about the same as a 12 bolt or nine inch, but it comes with 35 spline axles standard.
