There should be a P/N cast into the passenger side of the intake, between the #4 and #6 injector bosses. The part number for the LS1 intake I have in storage is 12560688.

LS6 intakes also don't have the EGR hole (on top of neck right behind throttle body). Some places modify them to make them compatible with EGR-equipped vehicles, though. I'd go the P/N route myself.

Been covered a gazillion times here but what the hell? Look directly behind throttle body at intake. Is there a large blank recess at top of intake with nothing in it? LS6 . If there is a large solenoid with line coming out , EGR on LS1 intake.

No Corvette LS1 manifolds did not have EGR.

AFAIK if the p/n is on the driver side it is a LS6. If the p/n is on the passenger side it is a LS1.

The only sure way to check with it on the car is to look at the p/n.

Reading comprehension is a wonderful thing. Corvette LS1 intake manifolds did not have EGR. The only way to be sure without seeing the underside of the manifold is to check the p/n.

The corvette ls1 doesn’t have the EGR provision either. However I have been informed that the ls1 intake is thicker under the throttle body than the LS6. I hope this helps
