having traction issues

i cant seem to get my car to hook up i have 18x9.5 z06 wheels with nitto 555's and i cant seem to get them to hook. tried heating them up, running them cold and everytime i race from a dig i spin all the way through first gear, if there is anyone with any suggestions let me know.

let off the gas.j/k lower the air pressure is what most people do. i think 20-25 psi

yah well regardless of what adds say, those 555's wont really grab good. you could try lowering the tire pressure like the other guy said and kind of feather the pedal in first gear, or you could sell those tires and get some bfg drag radials or the 555r's or even mickey thompson

get some rear suspension parts like lower controll arms and stuff like that to keep them planted but you are just expierencing the power of an ls1 right there.

Looking at your sig you don't have any suspension mods. Get a torque arm and some LCA's and re-location brackets. You will notice a hell of a difference.

do torque arms really help that much cause i need to replace mine. my car has really bad wheel hop now due to the torque arm i think

Torque arms help, but combined with the relocation brackets they really help. The brackets give the LCA's a better angle for applying all your power to the ground.

Even after changing the LCA's, putting in a "drag bar" 25 mm rear sway, an adjustable panhard rod and putting in the relocation brackets my Nittos still spun like mad thru first. That was before I cammed my car too.

You're probably just in the same situation as I was... no more usable tread on that set.
