So far so good...only thing I've had to do in a year of ownership is replace a PCV elbow that developed a vac leak. Couldn't say the same for my lower mileage LT1 car after a year of ownership

I've had a fair share of problems. Driver's side tie rod, an oil leak, now another oil leak, pinion seal went bad and now I think the real main seal is bad, tranmission sudennly had no fluid have yet to figure that one out. I don't think that is because its unreliable I think the prevvious owner didn't take the best care of it in terms of keeping up on the maitnance.

he's a ****** retard then. I said it was before anybody actually saw it... but he's the only one who thinks that is the case. I wish I could find a stock v6 and run 13.5's

Right after my warranty was up, everything seemed to break. Then again I bought the car brand new at 18yo and showed it no mercy. I take all of the blame. The #7 ring land went and had to put a motor in it, but that was warranty. The stock clutch pressure plate failed on a 2-3 speed shift and took the 3rd gear synchro with it. I also busted up a couple sets of 4.10s in my crappy 10 bolt. My car has never stranded me though and has been trouble free for the last 5 years. *knocks on wood* I baby the hell out of it now.

Mine has 60,000 miles and the only thing in 2007 I have done to it is change the oil once(its a second car so it doesn't see alot of miles) and replace the drivers side window motor, 60 dollars-big deal! Its been a very reliable machine! Best Bang for the Buck!!

My 01 SS 65,000 miles ..only thing replaced was the alternator (Stock one went bad due to jumping my old LT1 Z)
My 98 Trans Am 143,020 Runs like a top, never left me stranded. The car was cammed in the past and prob didn't receive the care it should of . I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. In the past 2 weeks destroyed a 04 GT and Infinity G-35 coupe 115+ 125+ MPH's

Only issues that i ever had with my 2000 Z28 were 2 melted cats, two blown rearends, two broken motor mounts and trans mounts (due to me and DR's) All covered under warranty as well. Other than that i was perfect through and through from 27K-75K.
The 2000 SS has had ZERO problems and is a STRONG runner. Well aside from a blown speaker at the hands of my over-zealous metal head cousin.
With proper maintenance i believe i can get a good 150K+ out of it.
