Default i wonder how many people looked at the carfax after they already bought the car

hey guys i remember i made the dumb mistake of looking at the carfax after i bought my car but luckly my car was clean with no problems. i wonder how many people out there found some major problems after purchasing the car??

Doh! I used both Carfax and Autocheck before I bought the T/A. Ultimately I don't think those agencies are on top of everything anyway. For example, I've rear-ended someone TWICE in my '97 Z28 Vert and there's no sign of those reported accidents on either agency. Also, they have me listed as the original owner of the car when in fact I bought it used at 34K miles. Finally, my mom's '98 GT stang became mine in '02 but both agencies list me as the original owner?

Those reports don't hurt but I can't imagine that they help THAT much either...

checked afterwards, didnt show up as anything wrong with it, found out a few monts ago that the front end was hit and a new bumbper support **** was from a red car owell

never checked for mine. nothing seems messed up, runs great. i bought it with 43,000 miles.

I did that just b/c I knew someone who bought that unlimited carfax thing. But it came back clean as can be

i checked on one of mine and it was clean... but something about 5 states not having to report everything or something and as it happens i bought it from one of those states... it was a bad deal I got screwed...

I made sure to run a carfax on my car before I bought it. It turned up clean though!

I ran one on my car after I got it. My trade in for the car was a '97 mustang gt that was wrecked front, rear and passenger door. I payed a very good body shop cash to fix it right, they did a good job, I never got a reciept or anything the owner pocketed the money so carfax doesn't mean much to me, I know he didn't report anything.
