What do you guys like better? Well i am in the market for a Ls1 F body and i am very torn between the 2000-2002 Camaro SS and Trans Am Ws6. Performance wise they are the same but each has its own plus in appearence. The SS has the smooth lines and is more "clean" looking, while the Ws6 has attitude and the badass factor. I would just like to hear why you guys chose the car you drive.

i perfer the ss, although right now i have a trans am. my first intro to the wonderful world of f body was with the camaro ss so i am partial to it. the ss to me looks classy, especially in certain colors, but still has a kick *** looks. the ws.6 looks kick *** to a whole other level. the classy factor doesn't apply so much to the ws.6, it is just outrageous styling. i would totally perfer an ss, but i got a killer deal on this trans am so...

I have always liked the look of the WS6 from the front, but if you want to be able to set your car apart from everyone else's, go with the Camaro. On the Camaro you can change headlights, grille, hoods, lots of options with the rear of the car, etc...plus, I am not a fan of the red instrumentation....but its really up to you! You are right, the Z28/SS is a little more classy/subtle look, where the WS6 seems more "teenager" look to me, except the 30th Anniv. WS6...that thing screams classy!

WOW, I hope this thread stays on topic b/c usually these get off topic into a "my cars better then yours" thread... But I like the Trans Am lines a little better then the camaros although I have a camaro

They both are great looking cars.. Personally I think the seats in the Trans Am are superior to the Camaro's, I like the texture of them as well. You can't go wrong. If I had had my way back in Nov '03 I would have probably got into a WS-6 but I would have paid much more for it.

I personally like the more aggressive front of the Firebird, plus around here you see a lot fewer Firebirds. I'm not real fond of lots of body cladding so I like the clean looks of my 98 Formula. One of my best friends has an 02 SS and it looks good too. Pick the one you like and you can't go wrong.

I own a 2000 ws6, blk. Its lowered so it has that bad *** "aggressive" stance. Everytime i look at it i want to hump it. Both are great looking cars, but as far as sex appeal, hands down ws6.

I went through the same delimia before I bought my car.
After long hard thinking, I decided to get an Camaro SS.
And to be honest with you, I don't regret it one bit!
Camaro SS is my choice, but I like WS6 cars too. Just Camaro better.

well i have a Trans Am now, and i am considering selling to buy a Camaro... why, i really dont know. maybe the car fairy has struck me in the night??

Hope to hell you wont drive it in the winter time. LOL Im just down in Erie, I saw you are in Buffalo. Man I love my WS6 because it totally is a head turner. Camaros are sweet, I want to add one to the collection, but when you see a ta coming they are sweet, and you dont see them as much. Especially a WS6. Believe it or not, I get more looks in the TA sometimes more than the Vette. But in the end choose what you want and will not be made about later on. Good luck.

I'm kind of facing the same dilemma. I REALLY like the looks of the WS6 while the SS is a damn good looking car to. But I found a pretty good deal on a black 6 speed ss that i might get. But still debating cause i really want a TA.

completely up to your liking. Take a look at the T/A from all angles, especially from the rear (sides) and make sure you're comfortable with it. I still think the rear of my T/A looks odd but when I see it from the front I still gaze at it quite often.

My vote's for the WS6, because the front end looks incredibly intimidating, and pretty much any exhaust tip makes the back look bad ***.
But, like mentioned up there, camaro's are like snowflakes, no 2 are the exact same. Unless they're both stock, of course. And when I see the headlights and foglights of a camaro coming up behind me, it looks badass imo. Very aggressive.
The TA does have better front speaker placement, though...
But either way, you get a bad *** car that looks like it'll kick your ***. Good luck

Im parcel to my WS6, so ill have to go with it. I love the front end and overall styling of it. A modded camaro looks great as well. Its up to you man, get what you want.

I love both cars but I bought the SS because it was a really good deal. I say if you have no preference buy the car you find that seems like the best deal. You'll save money and get a bad *** car either way. Just my opinion good luck on the purchase you won't regret it no matter which one you get.

I like the SS more because they're faster than the WS6.
But seriously, if I was shopping for an Fbody it would just be a matter of what I was able to find. For example, I would take a SOM SS over any other Fbody but after that I would go for either a SOM or NBM WS6. Whichever one you do get, you win.
