Default Titanium exhaust

Is there a complete titanium exhaust system for the camaro? How about headers? Is it possible to fabricate one using the Z06 system? Sorry for the noob questions..

Shucks... would have been a nice sound and the weight savings would have been great. I'd love that Z06 sound without the price tag. It sounds almost like an F1 or an exotic car. Thanks.

can the metal of the tubing actually contribute to the sound THAT much? or is it more in the routing layout and muffler/cat choice? i'm guessing the latter.

I've got the exhaust piping, mufflers and tips off of a '04 Z06 if you want to try and fabricate something for your car.

+1 on the routing. I dont think that the material would contribute to the sound that significantly.

Its the material and design within since the routing is the same on all C5's with minor changes in cat configurations which have nothing to do with the 02 and later cars.

Sorry to bring this back up but exactly how difficult would it be to making the Z06 Catback work on the F-body?

It would be so hard, your better off buying piping and have it done that way. It would be really expensive though, and you wouldn't come anywhere near the same sound because the corvettes have a true dual exhaust, fbodies don't. You can do a true dual system, but it would be ever more expensive.

Doesn't titanium have to be welded in an argon gas environment??
