Default 02 t/a vs ls2 gto

hi my names tim and i have a o2 t/a ws6 m6 with sfc , gutted cats and a k&n, and my buddy has a bone stock a4 ls2 gto who wins in 1/4 mile

GTO in a drag race, unless you can launch really well on street tires and drive the **** out of your car.

i think ur gonna get flammed by the mods for posting a what if scenario, especially in this forum. But im gonna say the GTO by a nose! A4>M6 in the 1/4.

There are so many times I wish I had an auto around town off the lights and on the strip. Put a nice stall in it and beat the **** out of people that think just because its an auto its going to loose. Yeah autos are the **** out of the whole.

Anyways, the Goat......And like said above, you cant post what if's. Im sure the Mod Squad is going to lay the smack down!

id still put my money on the TA. If you can get any traction you should be able to spank him.

Ive got (M6) 4.10's, !EGR, !AIR, intake, true duals, suspension, and Nittos... the goats cant hang. They are just so freakin heavy. As long you can drive yo' ****, you wont have a prob.

TA, wheelhop and TM on stock ls2 GTOs really sucks.

In a drag race between these two cars, you would think that the GTO would win, but With the proper traction, clutch and a driver who knows how to shift the WS6 could spank him out of the hole.

i will stick with the M6, but better know how to peddle it out of the hole with 4.10's

i'd say the t/a unless you can't drive, but either way it will be very close, i'd lose your sway bar, sounds like it will be a fun grudge match though, definetely post up the results

unless you're a good driver then the GTO. Also, dont mention the k and n filter, because people will flame you for that, plus it doesnt add power of any significance.....

i really don't think you'll lose im my opinion. when my car was stock with only an exhaust and 4.10s i would stomp on them easily. they aren't what they are made out to be, hey are fast no doubt but also considerably heavier than a trans am. if you can drive i'd put my money on you

Hi I have a 2000 SS A4 3.23 gear K&N FIPK and factory SLP exhaust, and is otherwise bone stock, my buddy has a 06 GTO M6 and is bone stock, we run all the time, if he launchs well, hell get me by about 3/4 car in the quarter, If i dont spin and he does its pretty much overwith. I run a consistant 13.6 at the track.
