Is your f-body a daily driver?

Honestly, that's what I should do too. I DD my M6. Go on long trips (2200 mile round trip). Drive in metro traffic. Put way more than 15K/Yr (the industry standard) on it. I'd rather just have a Civic like I did with my raunchy 383 G-Body. But, I don't want to have to spend money on the Civic/Geo/Cavalier/whatever. Insurance, plates, fixing things... Rather just spend it on my F-Body.

I've used mine for a DD since I bought it in July. Gets good mileage (low 20's local and high 20's on trips). These are a used car not a rare collector car. Parts are available if you break it. It's really a two-seater. The backseat is only good for kids or someone you don't like. With the backseat down there is a fair amount of room for suitcases Etc.. and it's a good road car. I won't drive mine when the snow flies however. Buy one, drive it and have fun.

Nope. I don't daily drive mine.
Its more than capable of DD duties though.
I just take it out when I feel like playtime.
I've got a workhorse 1992 Geo Prizm for all the bad weather/work commutes.

It's been daily driven since purchased new in Jan. 2000 (hence my username). It's driven in rain, sleet, snow, hail, ice, on rally stages, etc., etc. Life's WAAAYYY TOO SHORT to not enjoy this thing EVERY chance I get, and it's enough car to not get "bored" with it or become jaded with it's performance!! In other words, I STILL appreciate it despite driving it every day, I would NOT appreciate it ANY more ONLY taking it out on nice weekends. It; goes mid 12s with a road race suspension, NEVER fails to start, been dead on reliable/solid (only non "wear and tear" item was a water pump at 85K miles), and gets >31 mpg on the highway (even with 4.10s).
In summary; GM/Chevy gave me the bargain of a lifetime new, for <$21K!! THANK YOU, "American Giant"!!!

Has been daily driven for 2 1/2 years, 45k miles. Has had the cam/stall for ~12k miles. 113k on the odometer now and still going strong. I am looking to get another car now to save miles and be able to mod the Z28 more heavily. This is tough while in college though lol.

Yeah, I think I'm going to end up getting a DD and have the f-body on weekends. Especially here in Jersey when sometimes it snows 5+ inches.
Plus, I wanted to get an A4 with a stall and I think it'll work out better this way anyway
