ECHOMIRAGE sums it up quite nicely. Those not from the long, cold, dirty, salty, aggrevating winters here in New England wouldn't understand. Ever see the cars driving around in the winter up here? The color is not recognizable. Ever try driving route 128 during a snowstorm when it takes you an hour to go 5 miles? My car sits nice and clean in a garage till spring, then I'll drive the hell out of it. But the combination of winter, Boston area traffic, and other stupid winter drivers makes my decision easy. I wash my car one last time in October and not again till May. If i lived in Arizona, thats a completely different story.....I would DD mine in a heartbeat. This argument should be broken down by region....I just hate seeing my car dirty.

I think the point has been made that F-bodies CAN be daily driven without problem, regardless of if the owner decides to or not..
