Default Exhaust Leaks

Hey guys, need some help with some exhaust leak issues.

Was on my way to ASU polytechnic down here in Arizona, and on my way, I encountered some unfortunate construction.

The speed limit was 35 mph or whatever, and I'm cruising along, then BOOM.

I heard my exhaust SLAM against the body of my car.

The idiot construction workers forgot to put the "Dip" sign or whatever, and my car basically went straight off a 7 inch concrete step.

I started immediately hearing this ticking noise from the exhaust leak, and on my way back from classes, the SES light shot on and the car started actually shaking at low RPMs, and the ticking got even louder. About 2 minutes out from home, the SES light started actually flashing (owners manual said to pull over and call a tow truck if this happened).

Took a look at the damages, and there are some minor cracks that I'm hoping can get welded and such. The only thing that I might suspect turned the SES light on is I nailed the O2 sensors or something. Need some help

Flashing over exhaust? don't think so. i have ran it every different way and never had it flash. drove open headers to a friends to put on Duals and one of my 02s that i had just stuck over some wires fell down and banged around for awhile, no light.

Mechanical?

What could have gotten smacked if my exhaust hit construction?

I found the leak, it's at one of the welds as the pipe starts bending to go to my X pipe.

I was under the assumption the SES light only blinks when the car is misfiring enough to clog the cat with unburnt fuel. Am I wrong? My SES light only ever blinkes once, and it was from a horrible misfire from a broken spark plug.

Start with the basics, check your 02s, plugs, wires, etc.

yeah, because an exhaust leak isn't going to flash SES. like i said, i've ran it every way you can with it never coming on.

Where is this construction? I want to make sure I don't have to encounter it. Sorry about the exhaust man, hope it gets sorted out.

This construction is North/South exactly on elliot road and recker.

Avoid that intersection at all costs.

Checked the code and it gave me P0305, cyllinder 5 misfire.

So yeah... any ideas? Wires looked fine, someone said maybe a pushrod might be broken on another website.
