I daily drove my 99 T/A when I had it, and then Daily drove my Z28 for a few months this summer, but eventually bought a 96 Grand Am for my daily driver and winter car... I personally loved having my F-body as my daily driver, but now when I get to drive the Camaro it is SO much more fun and rewarding after driving around in the Grand Am all the time..plus if you break anything on your F-body you have a back up car, which I had my clutch go out, and having my Grand Am made it worry free.

Mine is a daily driver and I've had only minor problems such as battery, alternator etc. but mine also has 122,000 miles and doesn't leak one drop, has great oil pressure and doesn't run hot or anything!!!

My SOM '01 SS was a daily driver for 2 months when I bought it new, then I came to my senses. Car was way too nice to drive every day. But my '95 Z vert is a daily driver. It would not be if I still lived in Illinois though.

The main point is room. I daily drive a Dodge Caravan that is usually at least half full with all the seats removed. That's a lot of cargo.

ALL THREE of the F-bodies (89 IROC-Z, 97 Z-28, as well as the newest one, 99 HOSS) I have owned have been DDs. I wouldnt have it any other way. Most issues that I have encountered are quick fixes; never had any major problems (knocking on wood). I just love my f-body that much that I can NOT just let her sit.

#1. these cars ARE somewhat rare, and getting moreso each year, because of people who use and abuse them to the junkyard.
#2. not everyone lives in an area with no snow/salt/horrendous traffic (read: accidents)
#3. not everyone has a job where you can park in a parking lot and sit in an office all day. im a pipefitter.....construction worker. i have to travel to shitty areas sometimes, park on side streets, or on job sites. if youve never seen a jobsite before.....several inches of mud, dirt, snow, nails/screws, heavy equipment running around, heavy trucks making deliveries, etc. etc. tell me youd like to park there after spending a day detailing your car, just to say you drive it everyday??
i drive my truck every day. 4x4 pickup.....how much scrap copper do you think you can fit in the hatch of an fbody? ive had a few hundred pounds, worth over $1000 in my truck. both my TAs are pleasure/good weather vehicles. i enjoy the hell out of them, and dont have to worry about some ******* backing into my cars while im parked on a side street, or getting stolen when i work in Paterson (look it up).
