Default lS6 in 01 Camaro

Just wondering if anyone has put a LS6 in a f-boby without problems, like the transmission dowlpins being to big.

Can you elaborate a little. Why are you asking such an unusual question?

Motor cracked from dowlpin to the deck about a 1/8 inch thick. We talked to Scoggin-Dickey and said the trans would break first which would make since, hopefully they will warranty it.

Well that sure does explain unusual. I know those dowels fit tight but not THAT tight.
FWIW I have an '02 SS with a factory installed LS6 block, I did an M6 swap and used a dowel pin that was in the trans, trans was out of a '00 SS. The dowel fit just like the original.

GM is going to warranty the motor said it was a factory blem. The guy that owns the car only paid 3000.00 plus shipping for the motor, not to bad i guess.
