I think it sounds like a good price. I found a 2k Trans am 6 speed for 13k all options. Since its a large dealer Im thinking 9k and not budging a bit.

Mint, only one owner... and I prefer A4.

With every single option (leather, wheels, etc.) except TCS, its a good deal.

With the way people over-price these vehicles from the start, I would take a good test drive. I am probably a little suspicious because this one starts at a reasonable price.

What's the problem no *****? There is little difference between offering 9K or 6K for a car you already know is in short supply, often beat to hell. Show this large dealer who they are dealing with: YOU engarde:

But in my opinion you're going about it all wrong. Set back let me tell you how this needs to be done based on almost 4 DECADES of selling cars.

Go to the internet brother: Over 80% shop the internet before walking on the lot. Prove you're not an *** clown.

Make contact with in Internet Manager

Make appointment set time I want to take to you or the sales manager because I am a buyer...

You'll need credit I don't think your 98 or 99 Blazer will go to far towards covering the newer F. I don't think you sound like the type that's paying cash, but bluff. Tell them it's a cash sale. Contact your credit union know what the interest rate is.

If you think the car won't go wait until the end of the month. In the car business you're can be a hero one money everyone starts at 0 the next month. Your sales associate might be one car away from a big bonus. Go back and make your offer to the sales manager. Show them some cash..

I haven't seen the car but a savy sales vet would read you like a book if you walked on the lot of a LARGE dealership and started talking.: trash gtfo:

I'll offer one more item of assistance. Ask for a car fax history
