how is he going to be a dog off the line with the stock 3.42? , he going to be faster than he is know, if he gets traction. there are lots of m6 running grat times with the stock gear. even stalled autos with 3.23 are doing good with a cam
if he was an auto with out a stall then he would be a dog.

stalled auto's dont have to work through low rpm to reach its happy place lol. gears are a minimal factor on a stalled auto car.
it's about the same thing as a stock stalled auto car with 3.23's, since the 1st gear in the auto's is lower than the manuals.
i see you dont have a cam, but you do have a stall and a 150 shot. seems you should practice what you preach.

i agree he dosn't have enough money for a cam unless he does everything himself.
he should get some susp mods or even some n2o like he wanted. he could get a little of both.

i couldnt disagree more.. if your going to do something like a nitrous system half assed your an idiot. a nice nitrous kit is easily over $500.. then all the supporting mods would make it WAY north of $1,000. If he can ONLY spend $1000.. i say suspension is the way to go.. BUT, if you can wing $200 more.. cam + tune all the way

^why not? he pulled the appropriate timing. People use the stock tune and spray all the time. My nozzle is in the neck of my lid 3.5 inches from my maf spraying on the sensors. Where everyone puts it, and is perfectly safe.
I agree that a wideband would be ideal for squeezing every bit of power out of my car, but as far as safety is concerned I know the afr while spraying is safe.
Also i have ls1m as a scanner, have not seen any kr while spraying. and my millivolts are safe too even though its on a narrowband.
