Default next mod

have some mod money. what would you do next?

1. 390 gears in my 10 bolt
2. cam
3. n2o

I know the n2o is the best bang for the buck, but its not always there. and I am not sure I want to spend money on the 10 bolt. I just don't know what to do.

yeah save up for a 9 inch or a 12 bolt. but go with a cam package. you can make great power from the stuff out there now a days.

what tranny do you have? thats tuff a cam package would be nice but fairly expensive.
n2o would be cheaper and you would probly have money to do some susp stuff.

whats the point of having a crap load of power if you can't put it to the ground.

He meant do you have an auto or manual...

Anyways, Nitrous is a great mod, it's fairly cheap, and it doesn't hurt driveability at all. I would either go nitrous or a cam. The cam is probably around $1k once you replace oil pump, ls2 timing chain, etc...

It depends on how much you have to spend. After all the extra stuff that needs to be bought with a cam and nitrous they would both be around the same price. I decided to get nitrous before a cam. But my advice to you is to get a cam. Just because it sounds so good!

If you get nitrous you can have a little left over for a suspension mod that can help with traction. If you get a cam you wont really have any money left over so you'll have some traction issues but you'll have power all the time.

You know you're going to eventually have both it just depends which one you want first. I had a hard time making this same decision

Cam or under-drive pulley... A new rear end would be nice, but worry about it when it's broke..

Yeah, cam and tune for sure.

Rearend is for when you brake your 10-bolt... if it ain't broke, don't fix it....

I'm always a little iffy about nitrous.... but that's just me
