Since Billy Graham's Camaro Salvage is in Alabama, you might check with them to see if any parts or gutted cars have come in since the weekend. The theif could have tried to unload the car at a salvage yard thinking it would be harder to get caught.

Im in Pensacola and ill be sure to keep an eye out for this car or any parts that may come off the vehicle! Anything else special on the car that would help to prove its yours besides the sts turbo kit and the wheels? I know if mine got stolen i'd be out for blood!

Hitch, see my post in this section. My wife's ws6 was stolen in Baton Rouge on Oct.2nd. Was told stolen most f-bodies around the south end up in New Orleans in pieces, then the rest torched. I'm sick about ours too. we put too much time and money into our cars for some thug to steal it. I hate a thief. We still have not heard a thing from police or insurance. It is a bright red ws6 and has a bullseye on it when I pass cops, wish it had one the day it was stolen......my luck

I'll check the salvage yards, I sure do appreciate the support, really i do. I feel helpless. Snake I hate to say this "I know how you feel". I own a shop and had a guy from Louisiana come by my shop and he was asking an awful lot of questions that seemed odd, said he even wanted to buy it. dont like to profile but seemed shady. was asking whether i kept it inside just odd things.

only changes to be unique would be the exhaust side off the turbo is cut kinda radical. the hood, (around the scoop the paint was kinda chipping). and the back window had a STS sticker. I'll try and get some pics.

My god what is with all the stolen cars lately. I see its going on down south alot. Im parinoid to even take mine out lately. I took the TA to church yesterday and I actually thought about snake hunter's TA and started to get all nervious in church about what if someone would steal it. Church is downtown and there are always weirdo's around. I hope you guys find it and best of all I hope you find out who did it. I have some people I know that would "forget about it".

Man, this is bullshit, twice within the same month, no fbody is safe, cant say i know how it feels, but i can imagine, i mean i know i myself bought for 99 m6 formula with 60,000 miles for $10,000 and in the 5 months i have owned it have spent over,$ 4500 on performance and upkeep, my wife says i love the car more than her, (actually its the car, a cold miller lite, then her) it would just kill me to see it go, best of luck finding the basterds

The only cure for the problem is for ALL states to pass laws permitting the use of deadly force with a firearm to prevent theft of one's personal property, and to prohibit ANY charges or lawsuits from being levied against the would-be victims.

Would be car-thieves showing up on the local news with their brain matter decorating the sidewalk is about the only thing that might deter some theft, not to mention make the news worth watching.

check ebay...if you find some parts local dont tell them your car was stolen just ask to come and see the parts or the car being parted out...but i doubt you will ever see it again we had stuff stolen and one car but we knew who took the car so we called him while we were in the police station and the car was back in 5 minutes but good luck finding it

Sucks man - The sad reality is that door locks and alarms only keep the honest man honest. Any car can be stolen by a pro if they want it bad enough. Keep an eye out and post some pics for us.
