The Vette also weighed ALOT less...and it was a different IRS IIRC

This new camaro I hear is supposed to be more than 3700lbs....is this true?
I really hope not...otherwise GM will be shooting itself in the foot...More motor is easily offset by weight...

LMAO....the guys didnt know what hit them when I posted up that article along with the timeslips from my buddies 12 sec passes. They continued on with a bunch of BS, typical BS. It's ok though, cause we have some runs set up for next season...

Dude....I'ma ford guy..but if that thing weighs what a 4th gen did...or less.....I'd bomb the factory in dearborn..using my msutang as the missle.....lol...then I'd trot happily down the street to a GM dealer...lol

Too damned much.....fuggin 3900lbs...4100 for the ragtop...AHHHHHHH But they look cool

the regular GTs are around 3500 depending on options...

i see the 5th gen only being a few hundred pounds heavier than a 4th gen....

zeta platform,irs,bigger motor with displacment on demand, just a few of the things the 4gens didnt have

a few hundred pound is alot...especially if you are comparring to an SS thats loaded....instead of a stripper Z....or something..

my friend just bought a bullit 2 weeks ago...he said he's not racing me because all mustang owners know that they will get their asses handed down to them even with some bolt ons against a stock Z or SS lol...unless its a termi...i'm still trying tho i wanna record the carnage lol
