I'm glad to say that I finally have one of these fucked up stories where the guy who was at fault actually fixed it without an insurance company and within a 24 hour period. ...Event tho he was reluctant to do so he still handeled it and ******* fast too.

He was probibly scared to get the police involved.. It coulda been a hit & run charge on him. Smart move on his part though..
But hey, at least the guy man'd up to his mistake (eventually after he knew he was caught) and did the right thing.

Dude,.. Not even. I grew up around allot of armenians and middle easterns since I was 4. Quite a few girls that I've dated where armenian. So no issues there. I only get upset when I run into issues like this with certant armenins who whant to haggle with me and call me "My Friend" is all.

.... Yea,... seriously,... After I left the body shop I got a call some 3 hours later say'n that they had the mirror. Got down to the body shop and it looked like it was parted out from another blk T/A. .... Not sure if I wanna know how they got it that quick!

I'll tell ya what,.. there has to be a build code or some kind of matching numbers on the "new" one to compare it to his. If anyone knows where it is or even if there is one I'll check it cuz thats just a sheerly fucked up thing to happen to a guy and his car. If it matches then I'll go with him to the bodyshop to talk to the guy and to the police station to write up the police report.
I won't get in trouble but the jackass who swapped the part will!

My dad experienced a similar situation with a hubcap. We lived in Midland TX (BFE nowhere), his boss needed a hubcap for his Cadillac or something. Dad was on a trip to Houston, so he went to Hubcap Annie's there... inquired about the hubcap. "We don't have one, but come back tomorrow". He did. They had one the next day.
