Default 2000 Trans am a4 80k

what would you pay? I'm thinking 10k? It has 80 thousand miles on it. Cars seem more expensive here in the St. Louis area.

Wow, how about 26,000. because i'm thinking it's SUPER CLEAN! CLEANEST F-body out there.

What you want us to say when all you say is it's an A4 T/A, has 80k on it. It's just retarded...

Try giving some more details so we can help more. MOST people here don't get pissy about it.

Good luck!

what the? ok bud

The transmission is good, interior is perfect besides the obvious wear, exterior is fine with just the usual scratches you expect. Stock alloy rims, stock everything, its not a WS6.... or maybe you just want the link?

Do you ultimately want a ws6?? If you do just walk away because there are so many other TA's out there, including ws6's. I wouldnt pay more than 8k for that car. Just my $.02 I just dont like the way everything looks. I mean, I saw a regular TA the other day with 105k miles on it and it looked in better condition than mine, and mine is immaculate, no swirls, no pain missing, no rust...you get the point. I would wait. Winters coming, so that means in March there are going to be some cars (TA's) that will be for sale because of new machines coming out that people will want.

Plus I see your only 18, you got plenty of time to wait and get THE RIGHT TA instead of just jumping into one because you want to drive a V8 and beat the **** out of it. Be mature about this decision.

That car looks fine to me. Pretty clean actually.

Not sure what prices are like out your way, but in northern IL, you won't be touching a clean 80k mile '00 T/A for anything less than $10k at a dealer.

Prices on these cars just haven't been dropping much in the last 1-2 years around here.

Prices vary from location to location. What might be a good deal in your area might not be possibile in a more expensive region. Of course you can travel outside the area to buy, but there are extra expenses associated with buying a car long distance.

Alright, thanks guys. Yea i'm 18 and i've owned my v6 firebird for a few years before my mom had it. It perfect besides the paint. I've been looking for about 3 months and haven't found one around here for cheap and in good condition. I think i should take Smokin00WS6's advice and wait til March or so. More and more cars are coming out. But if i can get it for 8 k or 9k i'm going to. I already have Rims and a ram air hood to go on it. There is a black one at the same dealer with 81k miles same year and everything but black. We'll see what happens. Thanks guys!

Hey man, just to try and help out your decision on what you want, what kind of features and options are the most important that you are looking for?

Color? M6, A4? Interior? Modifications?

I have seen some people pick up some 80k mile good condition TA's for less than 10k, but it usually takes 6k months or more sometimes to really get the deal your looking for. But, then again its hard to pass a kbb'd car that is everything you want and more. Remember that if you dont' happen to get the car you want for a steal it doesn't meant your paying an outrageous price, it just means that the owner knows what the car is worth, and knows that it has options most people are looking for. Good luck with the sale man, hope this helps.

Well I passed up both trans ams. Mr gangster doesn't like to go very much. I had found a 02 NHRA edition trans am on ebay tho. Just so happens that person lives 20 minutes from me. Its listed for buy it now at 16. But i offered base price for 02 T/A and it seemed like they were interested. The base price is $13,225 according to nada.com. I can't tell you much about the car. You can find it on ebay... not much described and only one picture. Are these cars rare? They say its "numbered" by whatever that means? Don't mean to drag on about cars for sale I just like to get your guys opinions. Thanks

You guys that are saying $8k, that is crazy. You'd be lucky to find a clean 98 or 99 TA for $8k. That car looks clean, and its only a set of wheels away from looking worlds different. Not to brag on my old car, but I think it looked good just lowered with wheels (see sig). If that car was selling for $8k, I'd buy it now.

I'm looking at a 00 black ws6. Can't give you much info on it. Its completely stock. It has a few tears in the seats and a burn hole in the back seat. 41k miles and he's asking 15 for it. I assume its in good condition. He's an older guy and put most of the miles on the car. From what info i just gave what would be your top dollar?
