no, the cobras were mainly designed to compete against its formidable f-body counterparts. Its because the pony mustang GT, was still a very affordable lil muscle car that appealed to many, but others bought from GM because of need of POWER. Then the Cobra came along, to steal from GM F-body sales, and i hate to admit that it worked! The cobra was not intended to compete against the two seater corvette. That was the job of the Ford GT.

yeah! im biased as heck! I hate ford! GM is superior in every single thing over ford: EXCEPT for the 03/04 cobras. And the the dumb shelby took over the cobras, and put crappier rods in the new gt500's, so the Terminators can STILL handle more power than any other production mustang, hell! even more than any other production muscle car, PERIOD!

If you'd Like.....I can google it, and find the quote. Actually...You can. I have already given you enough information to correct your Misinformed self.
ANd although the GT500 has H-beam vs. the 03-04 I-Beam rods.....the GT500 Has and can easily handle 800RWHP....per the KB Blower.

keep in mind...the mustnag is like ford high end sports car, besides a gt40 or whatever... but chevys in not the camaro its the corvette. so basically chevys top end car beats a mustnag, and a mid range car too. haha. losers!

However true that is.....that is a ricer rebutle (IMHO). ALL OF US have the smarts to know (hopefully) that the 'ford high end' was not designed to compete with the 'chevy high end'.....don't forget that main fact.

sorry idiot, it was never intended to terminate the z06. there are so many morons on this board. Ford never expected a heavier less powerful mustang, to be able to out perform the more powerful, lighter z06.

You don't have to buy a louie vuitton supercharger...Granted twin screw, polished, will cost more, 3.5k-7+ seems to be the range though.

The ford GT out performs the c6 z06 on the track, road course, and the drag strip...
the z06 has better braking ability, but thats about it...

But, i do think the 321 mentioned in teh article is a tad on the upper end. Just like machs have seen 295......not very common, and highly not the norm.

True.. I heard that might have been with the paper filter pulled. I've seen many of my friends put down 305+rwhp but that doesn't mean **** coming from a nobody on the internet. An article with actual proof carries a bit more weight.. (which is why you see that all the time)

REally?.......I guess I don't know enough about the FGT......Ididn't know they were low 11 second 1320 cars.
