just a question ? what do think the lowest priced f-body will be worth in 2010 ? the reason i ask is i own an 02 ws6 which i paid 17900 out of the door. i bought the car as a toy being as i am 44 years old and only drive it for fun. i can not see that knowing the way this car will be looked after for the time i will own it would ever be worth less than what i paid for it. if you disagree give me an estimate on what you think it will be worth and other f-body cars btw this car will never be sold i love it to much and i will be leaving it to my son 'lucky son of gun'

considering how many they produced I dont see them being worth much for another 20ish years if ever at all. Some of the LT4 cars will probally be worth alot b/c of the low numbers produced but as far as LS1's go if any of them will hold value it will be the firehawks and SS's with extremely low miles. Sadly I dont see them being worth anymore in 2010, for there time it was a king considering the power but in the furture as were already starting to see its nothing special.

i did not ask if they were going to be worth more. you seem to have a rather negative feeling about their value, whats your worst case scenario for my car in 2010 [35000miles]

nada, as much as any other similar cond. WS6(they produeced too many for almost any WS6 ~ well maybe aside from the SOMs and one ofs to be worth more money)....drive the car and keep it in as good cond. as you can, but I wouldn't put the kids' college fund on it

ok let me be clear about this, this is not one of those ' i have 1 of 455 , it,s rare bullshit. i know there were a lot made but give me some numbers 10,000 8,000 15,000 my only reference point is my own car other cars please chime in. it does seem strange that so far the two replies posted on a site that loves these cars thinks they are not going to be worth a carrot!

I don't think they are gunna be worth much of anything. Nobody is going to want one and there were too many made.

just two years down the road, wait and see....

i honestly have no idea on a number value because i just matters who the buyer and seller is, if this car is somebodies dream car then youve got a good amount, if its just some kid wanting to buy a fast car, then theyll lowball you all day.

its too hard to predict something like that at this point. like already stated there were A lot of ls1 fbodys produced. maybe if you never drove your car again and kept it at 35k till 2010 it will be owrth a little more then others. but I dont see collector car prices or anything like that. plus with gas going to be 4+ dollars a gallon it will also decrease the value of cars not getting 30-40 mpg.

My guess is $12,900 for a WS6 with 35k on the clock in 2010.

Calm down a little! Don't plan on getting Barrett-Jackson money figures on your 'bird anytime soon. Like everyone else has said, they're just too common. There's really nothing that sets one out much farther than the rest. It's not like we're comparing an LS6 454 Chevelle to a 307 Malibu. All our cars were basically the same. Since this has nothing to do with the 2010 Camaro, I'm moving it to the General LSX Discussion Forum...

One thing for sure, if the transam is reborn around 2011 our car values will certainly go down.

i wouldnt get worked up about it. F-bodies are great cars and have a loyal following but that doesnt mean anything to the value they will hold. At the end of the day its a mass produced car from a major domestic auto maker. Unless you own one of the more rare produced f-bodies namely gmmg cars, year one cars, firehawks, etc. i see more ws6s around then i do regular trans ams. Enjoy your car dont worry about the value.

From my experience the past few years with the depreciation of these cars I would say between 9-12 K. In 2-3 years LS1's wont be looked at the way they are now, odds are they will be considered either the LT1 or TPI of our time.

well considering there's so many made the price will go down, yours? probably not to much with the mileage, and guessing great condition. i don't care if a million were made, people crash, there stolen, left to rot, riced out, and with all those adding up that makes less cars. the people who have had them stolen buy another one and crash it. it's an ongoing process untell there arn't many of them left. as i recall chargers, darts, camaros, ECT where quite common back in the days and now people want them more then ever. i don't care how low production numbers were then compared to now considering the worlds population has double (don't quote me there) but none the less, more people, more cars, same difference.

LMFAO. Wow, you are stupid. You do know they made more WS6s than regular Trans Ams or Formulas in 2002 right? The WS6 isn't anything special, so please don't get diluted from the past, and believe your car is going to be worth something. It is not an appreciating cars.
