Default How much have you spent on upgrades?

Just curious to see how much money people are spending on their cars..

Oh about...only 1500......and 1200 of that was wheels/tires! Got plans for about 2500$ more and i'd be happy...for awhile...LS6 intake, headers, ORY, lower it, SS hood....ported TB.....finish it out with a tune and i think i could be happy....

w/ all the taxes i have to pay and shiping over here to iceland.. i have spent around 25k to my 98 Z28,

that should be around 15k usd

and.. i am not nearly done.. car is not even runninmg

enough to buy another trans am and after that enought to buy a nice head and cam package for it if not a stroker motor for it

just off the top of my head $13700 and now am building a 402. REal smart. Maybe if i can quit spending money on my car my kids will be able to go to college.

About 25K in the car right now. That doesn't include labor on multiple rear-end, tranny and engine repairs/replacements. So I'd probably be lucky to get 6K for it

$2000 in exhaust, $800 on engine including tune, and $400 in apearence.

I don't add up reciepts anymore, it's depressing.
First mod was a lid, second was a LM 1 exhaust that was too loud for the bitch in the pass seat to talk on the phone, so the third mod was the slp power flo exhaust.
I traded the LM 1 for some wheels that I eventually gave away. Other than that the mods I did do have been worth it.
I paid the car off 4 years early so I saved a lot there.

I'm in about $12,000. Full suspension and a healthy heads/cam setup, plus wheels, tuning, and interior stuff.

About $600 on my 99 T/A for a lid and a catback. I've had other big bills that have cut into my mod money.

fender/hood/front bumper/complete paintjob: $3000
performance mods: $5000 (more but can't recall exactly)
electronics: $700
mechanical breakdowns/repairs: $1500+

future mods/expenses by next January
suspension work: $500
stall/inst.: $750
cam/inst.: $1000

I have had my car for 3 years.
