For all you whiners out there, I do delivery driving in my LT1, which is nowhere nearly as fuel efficient as an LS1. It is my toy and a DD too, but this way I get to enjoy it more while making money too, albeit not a whole lot. 93 octane costs me anywhere between $3.09 - $3.25 at the moment. So yes I will keep driving it no matter what happens to gas prices. The only thing that will make me stop is a vehicle that's more fun to drive and costs less to pay for per month than the ole LT1's fuel bill.

Part of being American is the fact that no matter how high gas prices get, your awesome V8 will still drink it, then proceed to **** on the environment with an "I don't give a f***" attitude.

But seriously, I only read the first and last pages and no man should ever buy a Prius unless you plan on having a sex change in the near future.
Also, I have been considering buying a civic or civic hybrid as a DD/second car. Just to get the gas mileage as I do travel a lot and I can't really use the SS in Chicago winters.
But I rather drive my SS in the winter than a Prius
