I don't have much of a choice unless I find a $500 clunker for a DD. My car still does pretty good on gas, over 30 on the highway most of the time. We'll see how it does when it gets the new motor next week.

Well sadly I live in NY where the winter makes driving it year round impossible but if I lived down south you bet your *** I would. My truck (06 Hemi Ram QC) doesn't get nearly the mpg the car does.

Yes I would still drive them. But mine are weekend vehicles anyway, so the mileage is limited.

I don't care how much gas is, I'd never drive a Prius. Simply put, those cars are gay. I don't care how close-minded this might sound; I strongly question the manhood of any guy that owns a Prius.

Give me a prius with limo tint! I wouldn't wanna be seen driving it, but it sure would be a nice relief on my finances.

A prius? Hahaha, I used to work at a Toyota dealer and I can tell you without a doubt that a corolla gets the same or better mileage. I cant count how many angry customers I saw that were complaining about "false advertising" and asking "why do I only get 35-40mpg?". Besides the initial cost of a vehicle purchased "only for gas mileage" will most likely never be exceeded by the savings it produces, not to mention the gayness of hybrids.

screw that, i'd rather get some diesel-powered vehicle and start making my own bio-diesel.....just go around to some local fast food restaurants and get them to save their used cooking oil for you.

i saw a show a couple weeks ago where this one guy was doing that from several different restaurants, and he had his own 500+ gallon containers where he would create the bio-diesel himself....he said that on his diesel-powered Isuzu truck, he got 40+ mpg on a regular basis, and he had enough bio-diesel once he did a big batch of it to run 3 separate diesel vehicles, and also had diesel-powered generators connected to his house to help produce electricity.

he said by the time it was all said & done, it only ended up costing him something like $.50 - $.60 per gallon after the initial setup cost. but he had a HUGE setup for making it.....you could probably use a lot smaller setup for a lot cheaper and create just enough to fuel up a single vehicle.

My god man, step away from the prius, step away from the prius!

Might as well get a sex change while your at it. Do me a favor, if gas prices get over 4 bucks, just give me your car, and I will get you a fagmobile.

I dont get how it's "bio diesel"??? it's cooking oil! I think there is a way to convert your car to run on the oil itself, but I don't think it's a diesel fuel? Theres no ethanol or petro in the cooking oil??? I've seen this too, but I think it was a regular gas motor they used when I seen it, we have a local guy who does this and you can really tell when he's been to KFC!!!!
