hey guys, Donohue just bought a 99 H/C trans am with nitrous and tripod gauges for the nitrous etc. My guess is the check engine light came on bc he just called me asking me to post up here to try to find out why. So my question I guess is do you guys know why the check engine light may have come on? I am sure it could be a number of things but maybe there is a specific problem that many people have faced.

any help is appreciated.

Go down to autozone and get them to do a free diagnostic for you. They can tell you any codes you have and shut them off for you.
