yeah keep lookin and beware that dealships dont always catch everything, and if they do miss something or missrepresent it.. for the most part they get off clean..... Personal experience with a dealership with a previous vehicle.

I voted yes, but didn't read how many miles. I bought my 2000 SS with 110,000 miles 2 years ago for $7800 and I thought it was a good deal. I had a 2002 WS6 with 20,000 miles that rattled and squeaked more than the SS. Of course part of the deciding factor was that the SS was BONE stock and untouched.

I wouldn't get it. I'm pretty sure I saw the one you are talking about on autotrader or something the other day, looked pretty clean, but that is just too many miles.

I agree. That about twice as many miles as it should have

What about a '99 Z28, 1 owner, under 95k miles, for the same price? Autocheck says one rear impact in 2000 and one front impact with air bag deployment in 2003, though. It seems like every car I find lately has been in some kind of accident.

I think you can find one better than that too.

I got my 99 Firehawk M6 for 10.5 with 107k miles. I might have overpaid a little, but it is a Firehawk. The SS's aren't quite as rare. Wait for another one.

192,000 miles, also it's been in a fender bender? I say HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anything, it should have an average of around 100,000 miles. 192,000 miles=right under 30,000 miles a year within 7 years.

No way man, like everyone else is saying, there are much better deals out there. Sometimes you just have to wait for them. I bought my '01 SS back in July for 13k and it's fully loaded with t-tops, leather, and it's an SLP SS with only 27,500 miles on it. Just have patience and the right one will come along.

That is way to much for that amount of mile, SS or not. Who knows what that car has been through. Just keep searching, there will be way better deals then 190k miles for 8,000.
