my 2000 has a june '00 build date and has 241 heads, 241's had a different casting technique than 853's (241=die cast, 853=sand cast), hence the reason for smoother chambers, again only 3-5 hp diff at most, sorry you missed out on a good buy, good luck and happy hunting!

Ok guys back to the original thread lol. the owner was out of town and i got a vin to run a carfax. Going to be checking that out and giving him a call to see it tuesday. What i do like about this car is its in my price range if negiated down a little of course,SS,6sp,low miles,donts are tan leather int. lol pretty much can deal with the other stuff we talked about.any one like there tan leather?
