With some of the prices you younger guys pay to insure these cars, I can understand why many can't afford to keep them. Even if you can save the cash to buy one, some of these monthly insurance bills look like a new car payment.

lol. You got that right. One more mess-up within 10 months of getting my license back, and I may end up behind bars for a while. The thought scares the crap out of me so much that I've debated on not even driving while I'm on probation still.

you old people suck

i pay $207 a month for my '02 z28 and '05 r6 - both of which have full coverage. im 23, unmarried, with 2 tickets (on record) with State Farm - AND the vehicles are on the family plan with my parents so i get their old fart discounts. to my understanding, State Farm allows up to 2 tickets within 5 or 7 years without raising your rates.
haha he called you old

I'm at $1275 for 6 months for both the 00 Hawk very with full Coverage and the 85 300zx. 23 with clean driving record in Nassau County, NY. Also have 250/500/100 liability limits, not a bad deal with progressive driect.

I pay $76 a month to insure my 98 Formula with liability, uninsured, a small PIP or something along those lines. Basically I have a few steps above just basic liability. I am 22 with a perfect driving record. Seems good to me!
